overview

The goal of this study was to explore early college women’s involvement in social contexts and whether or how social contexts influence unwanted sexual experience risk.

A total of 132 first year college women participated in a lab session and eight consecutive weekends of daily surveys.

Each weekend, participants completed a five minute survey sharing their experiences from the night before including where they went, who they were with, whether they drank or used drugs, and their sexual experiences – both wanted and unwanted.
